    Thank you!!!!

That was great too learn about the Flip — and the tripod. I was so motivated by your efforts, Beverly, that I am out working on my new site today.

Now to learn to Flip video myself!

Bev, you did such a great job – how brave you are! I can see myself doing the screen shots, but not the videos. Glad you are starting to feel more relaxed and getting as much accomplished as you are. Looking forward to future vblogs!

  3. Catherine Guhl says:

Great first video Beverly. Keep up the great work. I hope I get up enough nerve one of these days to do a video.

  4. Sue says:

Which Flip camera are you using? Definitely need to get into creating videos more.

  5. Sheryl says:

Love the Vlog Beverley – you did really great! Well done, I’m looking forward to watching many more :)

  6. Deb Lamb says:

Beverly, you did an outstanding job with your video. You appear to be very relaxed and calm. I admire that you were able to do it!

I’m so hesitant about doing video, it makes me cringe! I feel there will be people judge my appearance, and especially the weight I’ve gained since having 4 back surgeries. I can no longer walk to exercise and get this weight off. Don’t get me wrong, I can walk very short distances, but anything other than that, I’m in so much pain to the point of collapsing. So this keeps me from doing any videos.

So, I’m very proud of you and all you’ve accomplished so far. Keep up the good work dear. I always tell Tiffany, I’m her Texas neighbor. I live out by Granbury.

    You go girl!!! Good job!!!

    Deb :)

      Hi, Deb:
Just got your post and wanted to thank you for the comment. I think I’m more relaxed with the video because Tiffany is sitting beside me. You’ll notice that I didn’t make my solo one until I was at Tiff’s and she could sit beside me. I know it just takes practice — so let’s just do it!!!
I KNOW back surgeries. I’ve had two. Back pain is just the worst. I remember having to crawl to the bathroom once. Did the surgeries not help? Keep walking the short distances and maybe think about water exercise. That helped me.
Hey — I now live closer to you than Tiffany. I’m in Southwest Fort Worth. Used to spend summers in Granbury with my cousin — her father was constable and we lived in the jailhouse. What fun!!!
      Thanks for the encouragement, Deb.

      Hi Debs,

I just had to pop on and say I think you have a lovely face and I am sure you have a great personality to match it. Please don’t let your insecurities about your weight stop you from sharing the message you have with the rest of us – let your personality shine through and you will have followers who will love you for it.

      All the best
      Lisa :)

I’m really enjoying watching your Vlog progress, Beverly. Great job with this first one and I look forward to more soon.

  8. Hi Beverley

I think what you are doing is amazing. Your really making progress and you should be really proud of yourself. You come across very well on the video and you sound great.

Your also very lucky to have Tiffany sitting beside you – any chance of sending her over to Ireland for a few days??

The very best of luck to you as you move forward with your business.

    Katherine

    Hey Beverly and Tiff,

Great job on the video Bev., I know I’ve been hooked on the Flip for awhile, never bought and used one, ( I know it sounds crazy) but its what I plan on using in the near future, judging by the demos. Ive seen.

It appears so versatile!….Keep up the great work. Your always an inspiration to me.

Thanks, Ron. Yes, the Flip is great. Easy for a non-techie like me. I hope we continue to be an inspiration to you. Keep in touch.

  10. Rita says:

    Excellent job Bev,

I’ve been silently watching this process with you and Tiff and enjoying it very much. I got the Flip a couple of years ago and it really is easy. The hard part is “putting yourself in front of it”…..and you did that very well indeed. Good job, and always remember, you are an inspiration to the rest of us.

    • admin says:

      Rita:
Thanks for watching us. I agree…the hard part is actually sitting in front of the camera and trying to think of something to say. This time I had Tiffany sitting beside me, but this week I won’t be as lucky. Stay tuned!

Great job Bev! I am so inspired by both of you guys, & Bev you are just a natural for videos, so pleasant & relaxed. You make it all seem so doable.

    • admin says:

Well, thanks Phyllis. I’m glad we’re inspiring you — but, let me tell you…you guys who are commenting and cheering me on are really inspiring me. Thanks so much for the comment.

    Hi Beverley and Tiffany

Wow, I thought your first video was really good Beverly and I know you felt you had to have Tiffany with you (and we all love watching her) but I can tell that you will be making videos on your own real soon – a huge “well done” for putting your face “out there” – it is something I have been promising myself I would do for months and still haven’t done it :)

    You are an inspiration
    Hugs
    Lisa

    • admin says:

Just DO it, David. It won’t be perfect the first time, but thanks to Tiffany’s encouragement, I finally got the first one behind me.
Thanks so much for the video and for your encouragement.

I’m joining in to compliment you on your video appearance … you come accross as a really nice person, the kind of relaxed mom who would raise a smart, entreprising daughter like Tiffany!

  15. Carol Amato says:

I am so glad you are documenting what you are doing in the beginning. I have not started video yet, and I know I need to.

Your video helps me. Will keep following your progress; it is very encouraging.

    Thanks,
    Carol

  16. Desmond says:

Well good job Beverly, its been a while since I posted a video on youtube, but as you get more out there its going to be like talking on the telephone. Keep it up.

  17. Hi Beverley,
I have just watched this, and I am on my way out to buy a Flip !
I have struggled with my old camcorder for over a year, and still have to get someone over every time to upload my videos to YouTube.
I can’t believe it is that simple- thank you !
